Hello, beautiful souls!
Today, I want to share a piece of my heart with you—a reflection on my journey and the powerful meditation we recently experienced during our Faith & Fitness meeting. This guided meditation, “Daring Greatly with God’s Strength,” is not just a moment of calm; it embodies the resilience and empowerment I strive to foster in our community.
As someone who identifies as a true introvert, stepping into the spotlight has always been a challenge for me. For years, I felt more comfortable behind the scenes, avoiding attention and the judgments that can come with putting yourself out there. Yet, deep down, I felt a calling in my soul—a strong desire to empower women through fitness and faith.
About a decade ago, I found myself at rock bottom. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and ready to throw in the towel on life itself. It was during this dark time that I discovered the transformative power of fitness. Each workout became a stepping stone, helping me rebuild my strength, both physically and mentally. Alongside my fitness journey, my faith provided the guidance I desperately needed. It illuminated a path toward helping others, turning my struggles into a source of inspiration.
One quote that resonates deeply with me is Theodore Roosevelt’s reminder that “It is not the critic who counts.” This message empowers me to release the opinions and judgments of others and encourages me to keep showing up for myself and for the women I serve. I often remind myself that it’s okay to be vulnerable; it’s through our struggles that we find strength and purpose.
In our recent meditation, I invited everyone to visualize themselves standing in the arena of life, facing challenges, doubts, and victories. This arena is where we truly show up, where our courage shines. With each breath, we let go of insecurities, replacing them with strength and faith. It’s a powerful reminder that we don’t have to be perfect; we just need to keep daring greatly.
I encourage you to take a moment for yourself—find a quiet space, close your eyes, and breathe deeply. Reflect on the doubts and insecurities you carry, and visualize releasing them. Embrace the empowerment that comes from knowing you are not alone in this journey. God is with you, guiding you every step of the way.
Remember, beautiful souls, that your story matters. Your “mess” can become your “message.” By sharing our journeys, we inspire others to rise and find their strength. Together, we can create a community where women lift each other up, celebrating each victory, no matter how small.

Let’s continue to dare greatly together, empowering ourselves and one another through faith and fitness.
With love and strength,
